CBST holds national labor deployment in Aragua
The Central Bolivariana Socialista de Trabajadores (CBST) held its second national deployment in Aragua, bringing together delegations from Carabobo, Guárico, and Aragua. Led by national president Wils Rangel, the meeting focused on labor union restructuring and addressing the country's current economic landscape.
Participants established working groups to develop a new union model that integrates youth, women, farmers, and fishing sectors. The group also formulated proposals for the national government regarding improvements to social security, wages, housing, health, and public services.
Regarding macroeconomics, Wils Rangel highlighted a recent energy agreement with the United States. The agreement involves projected investments of $100 billion over 25 years, targeting 21.5 percent of proven crude oil reserves, which officials stated will be vital for restoring the social welfare state.
