CBX members sue agency INB100 over unpaid royalties

The members of the K-pop subunit CBX—Chen, Baekhyun, and Xiumin—have filed a lawsuit against their agency, INB100, seeking to suspend the effects of their exclusive contracts. The legal action follows a notice sent by the trio in April regarding unpaid royalties and unresolved revenue sharing.

The Seoul Central District Court has begun proceedings to review the request for a temporary suspension of the contracts while the main legal dispute continues. The conflict stems from allegations that the agency, now under the leadership of Cha Ga-won via One Hundred Label, has failed to settle outstanding payments.

Reports indicate that CBX is not the only talent facing similar issues with the agency; other figures, including Lee Seung-gi, The Boyz, and VIVIZ, have reportedly issued notices to terminate their contracts due to royalty arrears. Additionally, agency leader Cha Ga-won has recently faced fraud allegations involving 30 billion won, with a trial scheduled for October.
