Cốc Cốc data shows rising search trends for 2026 school year

Search data from Cốc Cốc reveals significant shifts in user interests ahead of the 2026-2027 academic year in Vietnam. Searches for textbooks rose by 64% compared to the same period in 2025, with high interest in mathematics and natural sciences for grades 9, 10, and 12.

Foreign language learning saw substantial growth, particularly for English, which increased by 100%. Other languages also saw rises, including Chinese (26%), Korean (23%), and Japanese (22%).

Additionally, searches regarding university graduation standards increased by 40%, specifically focusing on English and IT requirements at institutions such as the National Economics University, Hanoi University of Science and Technology, Hanoi Medical University, and Hanoi National University of Education. Interest in student housing and dormitories also surged by 90%.
