CCC Group launches ShockPrice off‑price store in Arad, Romania

Polish retailer CCC Group, operating through its Modivo division, is expanding its off‑price format in Romania with the new ShockPrice brand. The first ShockPrice store will open in the Agora mall in Arad, occupying about 3,000 sqm, and the company has already posted recruitment ads for store‑manager positions.

ShockPrice will sell branded clothing and footwear at prices lower than full‑price outlets, sourcing stock from older collections, production surpluses and unsold inventory. The format follows the group’s HalfPrice concept but targets even lower price points and faster stock rotation. CCC aims to open 100 off‑price stores each year, with more than half located outside Poland, and CEO Dariusz Miłek says the goal is to become “the king of off‑price retail.”
