CCE Edoméx seeks to strengthen business ties with Lebanon

The Business Coordinating Council of the State of Mexico (CCE Edoméx) and the Embassy of Lebanon in Mexico are working to strengthen commercial ties between the two regions. During a working session in Toluca, Lebanese Ambassador George El Jallad met with CCE Edoméx President Germán Jalil Hernández and local business leaders to explore new investment, trade, and business opportunities.

The initiative aims to connect companies from the State of Mexico with Lebanese investors, leveraging the historical presence of the Lebanese community in the region, particularly in Toluca, to expand business networks into Lebanon and other Middle Eastern markets. As part of the discussions, Ambassador El Jallad proposed the creation of an economic forum between Lebanon and the State of Mexico to facilitate direct contact between entrepreneurs.
