Cáceres Export Processing Zone seminar targets Mato Grosso industrial growth

Cáceres Mayor Eliene Liberato Dias participated in a seminar in Cuiabá focused on the potential of the Cáceres Export Processing Zone (ZPE) to drive industrial growth in Mato Grosso. Held at the Federation of Industries of Mato Grosso (Fiemt) auditorium, the event gathered officials, specialists, and industry representatives to discuss how the ZPE can attract investment, generate employment, and expand international business opportunities.

The seminar included contributions from various leaders, such as Governor Otaviano Pivetta and economist Paulo Rabello de Castro, former president of BNDES. Discussions centered on the national landscape of Export Processing Zones and economic perspectives leading toward 2027. Mayor Dias emphasized that the ZPE is a strategic opportunity to leverage the municipality's location to strengthen regional industry and exports.
