CChC launches technological classrooms for Chilean technical schools

The Chilean Chamber of Construction (CChC) has launched the ‘Salas Construyo Mi Futuro’ initiative to modernize technical-professional education across Chile. Marking the organization's 75th anniversary, the program selects 20 winning schools from a pool of 96 applicants to receive advanced technological equipment.

Selected institutions, including Liceo El Llano in Maipú, Colegio Técnico Profesional Piedra Azul in Puerto Montt, and Liceo José Toribio Medina in Osorno, will receive comprehensive technology packages. Each package includes 20 computers for students, a teacher workstation, a technical plotter, an interactive whiteboard, an HD projector, and a multifunctional printer.

The initiative also provides initial training for teachers to ensure effective use of the new tools. According to CChC President Alfredo Echavarría, the project aims to address deficiencies in computing and software training, helping students develop digital competencies aligned with current industry demands.
