CChC Maule pushes sustainability seal and hiring subsidy for builders

The Cámara Chilena de la Construcción (CChC) in the Maule region recognized two local firms, Constructora FJ and Constructora e Ingeniería Ingesep, with the PRO sustainability seal. The award, presented at a national ceremony, validates the companies' adherence to seven sustainability pillars covering workers, safety, community, environment, supply chain, productivity and governance, and highlights their efforts to improve quality of life, innovation and efficient design in public and private projects.

Separately, the regional SENCE office held an informational session on the government’s Hiring Subsidy for companies in the construction sector. The event featured the regional labor minister Ervin Castillo Arancibia, the economy minister Katherine Núñez, and SENCE director Oscar Morales Mejías. Officials explained that the subsidy aims to promote formal employment and support businesses facing economic challenges, while CChC Maule’s sustainability vice‑president Rodrigo Vargas emphasized its potential to stimulate activity and job creation in the region.
