CCM leaders in Iringa call for preparations ahead of party’s 50th anniversary

During a special general meeting of the Chama Cha Mapinduzi (CCM) in the Iringa region, party leaders called on members to prepare for the party’s 50th anniversary. National Executive Committee (NEC) member Paul Matiko Chacha urged members to respect party ethics and develop long-term strategies to strengthen the organization as it approaches its golden jubilee.

NEC member Salim Abri Asas emphasized the need for leaders to leave a lasting legacy and improve party infrastructure, specifically targeting the construction of CCM offices at the ward level. As part of the meeting, Asas was honored with a special award by the Iringa CCM regional leadership in recognition of his contributions to the party and his efforts in supporting the construction of ward-level offices.

Iringa CCM Chairman Daudi Yassin noted that the ongoing cooperation between the party and the government continues to drive development within the region.
