CCM leaders urge El Nino preparedness and economic empowerment in Tanzania

In Kibaha, CCM District Chairperson Mwalimu Mwajuma Nyamka has instructed local government chairpersons and ambassadors to prepare for the upcoming El Nino heavy rains. To prevent flooding and drainage issues, Nyamka urged citizens to stop littering and directed officials to ensure drainage systems and trenches are cleared. She emphasized that legal action should be taken against those who continue to dispose of waste improperly.

In Tabora, CCM National Executive Committee (NEC) Secretary for Politics and International Relations, Rabia Hamid, called on youth and persons with disabilities to utilize government-provided loans for economic empowerment. Hamid noted that the administration under President Samia Suluhu Hassan provides non-discriminatory, low-interest loans through local councils to help various social groups improve their livelihoods.
