CCOO demands urgent cleaning service reinforcements for schools

The CCOO union has called upon the Ministry of Education and the cleaning contractor OHL Ingesan to implement urgent extraordinary measures for school cleaning services. The union expressed concern that cleaning staff are working with standard resources despite exceptional circumstances in certain locations.

Specifically, CCOO highlighted that CEIP Reina Sofía and Príncipe Felipe are currently serving as provisional centers for minors, which alters their usual functioning and requires a specific safety and hygiene evaluation. Additionally, at CEIP Juan Carlos I, management reportedly informed cleaning staff they could not access the center due to these exceptional circumstances, prompting the union to demand immediate risk assessments to ensure worker safety.
