CCOO denounces company for discriminatory labor practices in Córdoba

The CCOO labor union in Córdoba has filed a complaint with the Labor Inspectorate against Factor Deporte, Ocio y Formación. The company manages the ‘Camino al cole’ school accompaniment service, which is outsourced by the Córdoba City Council to assist minors aged 3 to 12 in traveling to educational centers.

The complaint alleges abusive and discriminatory practices. According to union documents, the company required employees to complete a registry certifying that they had no upcoming personal circumstances that could interrupt their work in the following months. This included disclosing intentions regarding marriage, pregnancy, surgeries, trips, or other employment.

While the Córdoba City Council stated it would contact the company to clarify the situation, it noted that it does not have direct jurisdiction over the contractor. Representatives from Factor Deporte, Ocio y Formación have declined to comment on the allegations.
