CCOO Enseñanza Salamanca rejects regional labor agreement

The CCOO Enseñanza Salamanca union has rejected a pre-agreement signed by the Junta de Castilla y León, labeling it a measure that worsens working conditions for teaching staff. The union argues the agreement lacks sufficient guarantees and fails to increase staff numbers.

Key grievances include insufficient compensation for tutoring sessions and a delay in reducing teaching hours for staff over 55 until the 2031-2032 academic year. To organize a response, the union has called for a provincial informative assembly on October 1 at its headquarters in Salamanca.
