CCOO launches collective bargaining guide in Guadalajara
The CCOO union has introduced its 'Guía para la Negociación Colectiva 2026' in Guadalajara. This guide serves as a practical tool for union representatives to facilitate sector and company-level collective bargaining agreements.
A primary focus of the guide is the inclusion of wage guarantee clauses to protect workers' purchasing power against inflation. Ángel León, Secretary of Union Action for CCOO Castilla-La Mancha, noted that average wage increases in the region currently stand at 3.18%, while anticipated inflation is 4.9%. He warned of potential national mobilizations if employers do not commit to compensating for inflation.
The guide also addresses sustainable mobility to workplaces, occupational health, employment quality, equality, and work-life balance. Additionally, new regulations effective December 5 will impact companies with over 200 employees, or those with over 100 employees working in shifts, affecting approximately 60,000 workers in the province.
