CCR-Motiva closes Viaduto Hélio Smidt on Via Dutra for night maintenance in Guarulhos

The concessionaire CCR‑Motiva will carry out night‑time maintenance on the Viaduto Hélio Smidt, located on the Via Dutra (BR‑116) at kilometre 219 in Guarulhos, São Paulo. The work, scheduled for July 31, August 1 and August 2, 2026, will take place each night from 22:00 to 06:00 and will require a total closure of the northbound Express lane. Drivers will be redirected to the Marginal Norte at kilometre 225 and will use the Airport access ramp at kilometre 219B; the new viaduct ramp that connects to the Expressa Sul will also be blocked, with an alternate route via the Via Dutra at kilometre 225 provided. Southbound traffic on the Express lane will not be affected. The intervention includes road surface repairs, EPS system upgrades, signage renewal and area cleaning to improve safety and infrastructure quality.
