CD Cargo Poland deploys Dragon E6MST locomotive for heavy freight

CD Cargo Poland has introduced the Dragon E6MST locomotive into operation to support heavy freight transport between Baltic ports and the Czech Republic. The hybrid electro-diesel locomotive, manufactured by Newag and acquired from Akiem, is designed for high performance on mixed routes and improved energy efficiency.

This deployment is part of a strategic investment in modern rolling stock and involves close operational cooperation with ČD Cargo, a. s. The new locomotive aims to expand the company’s long-distance transport capacity and strengthen its position in the regional rail market.
