CD Leganés appoints Luis Carrión as new head coach
CD Leganés has appointed Luis Carrión as its new head coach following the dismissal of Rubén Albés. The decision comes after a period of poor performance, including four consecutive defeats and a single victory in the last seven matches.
Carrión, 47, arrives with significant experience in the Segunda División, most notably having led Real Oviedo to a promotion playoff final during the 2023/24 season. He will be supported by assistant coach Mikel Rico and physical trainer Sergio Dorado. The club aims to stabilize the team, address defensive vulnerabilities, and resolve recent scoring difficulties.
