CD Numancia is preparing for its first home match of the 2026-27 season at Los Pajaritos against Atlético de Madrid C. Manager Lolo Escobar described the squad as a team still in construction, noting that while the team shows good sensations and a clear desire to compete, they still require more experience and cohesion to avoid errors seen in their season opener.

Escobar characterized the upcoming opponent as a typical reserve team capable of causing chaos if they find open spaces.

On the administrative side, the club has surpassed 3,500 season ticket holders ahead of the league debut, matching the figures from the previous season. This total includes over 300 new sign-ups. The club has implemented various pricing categories, including options for those under 18, those under 29, and family packs.
