CD Numancia to host CD Guadalajara in key matchup

CD Guadalajara is set to face CD Numancia at Los Pajaritos this Sunday, marking a significant test for the visiting side. Numancia enters the match as league leaders with seven points and has yet to concede a goal in their first three matches.

Guadalajara's manager, Miguel Flaño, noted that the team must exert extra mental and physical effort to regain competitive rhythm following a ten-day hiatus caused by a postponed match. The team seeks to build on their recent home victory to face a solid Numancia side known for strong wing play and defensive stability.

Former Numancia player Juancho Victoria, now playing for CD Guadalajara, expressed disappointment regarding his departure from the Soria-based club. He stated that despite his desire to stay and his positive interactions with sporting director Toni García, he “never had an offer to renew with Numancia” and was ultimately told the club would not be counting on him.
