CD Projekt Red and Rockstar Games face major updates and leaks

CD Projekt Red is teasing new content for The Witcher 3 through artwork displayed at gamescom. The imagery suggests the upcoming expansion, titled ‘Songs of the Past’, may feature the Belleteyn festival, a spring and fertility celebration previously only mentioned in the game. Fans have noted similarities between the gamescom display and earlier illustrations.

Separately, Rockstar Games is facing challenges ahead of the highly anticipated Grand Theft Auto 6 release. An anonymous group has leaked gameplay footage and a purported map online as a protest against the manufacturer's sales policies. While the authenticity of the leaked material is supported by copyright takedowns on various platforms, Rockstar and parent company Take-Two have not issued official statements.

The official reveal of the game is scheduled to be available exclusively to Netflix subscribers six hours before a free public release.
