CD Projekt Red Announces Witcher 3 'Songs of the Past' DLC for 2027

Polish developer CD Projekt Red officially announced a third expansion for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, titled "Songs of the Past." The DLC is slated for release in 2027 on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, and is being co‑developed with studio Fool’s Theory. Details about the storyline will be revealed later this summer at Gamescom in Cologne.

Speculation from gaming outlets suggests the expansion may introduce a new region called Cidaris, featuring characters such as the bard Jaskier and ties to the Belleteyn festival. The previous expansions, Hearts of Stone (2015) and Blood and Wine (2016), were well received, and the new add‑on will continue Geralt’s adventures in the series.
