CD Projekt Red: No major DLC planned for Witcher 4, but Witcher 3 expansion announced for 2027

CD Projekt Red chief executive Michał Nowakowski said the studio will not release a large downloadable‑content pack for the upcoming Witcher 4, citing a busy development schedule and the ambition to launch the next two entries in the Witcher trilogy within six years. The company also confirmed plans for a new Witcher 3 expansion titled “Songs of the Past,” scheduled for release in 2027. The add‑on will be available only on modern hardware – PC, Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5 – and will not support the Nintendo Switch or older console generations. The announcement follows CD Projekt Red’s recent financial results and underscores its focus on both the Witcher and Cyberpunk franchises.
