CD Projekt Red reports Cyberpunk 2077 sales exceed 40 million copies

CD Projekt Red has announced significant sales milestones for its major franchises. Cyberpunk 2077 has reportedly surpassed 40 million copies sold worldwide. Its expansion, Phantom Liberty, has reached 15 million copies sold in less than three years, accounting for approximately 37.5% of the base game's total sales.

The developer also reported strong performance for its fantasy franchise, noting that The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt has exceeded 65 million copies sold, contributing to a total of over 90 million copies sold for the entire Witcher series.

Michał Nowakowski of CD Projekt Red stated that these figures reflect deliberate lifecycle management, including platform expansion and continuous support for the titles, helping to establish Cyberpunk as an evergreen franchise.
