CD Projekt stock rises following Witcher 3 Remastered launch

CD Projekt's stock has seen growth following the release of the remastered version of 'The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt'. On its launch day, the game reached a peak of over 110,000 concurrent players. Analysts from Alinea Analytics reported that 130,000 copies of the remastered version were sold on September 30 alone, marking one of the highest daily sales figures for the title since its original deep discounts.

The remaster introduces several technical and gameplay improvements, including enhanced graphics, improved camera work, and increased enemy intelligence. Significant changes were made to the skill tree to better integrate combat, signs, and alchemy, alongside a rebalancing of character progression. Movement mechanics have also been refined, offering smoother traversal for both Geralt and his horse, Roach, including new animations and improved interaction with the environment.
