CD Tenerife defeats UD Almería as club honors legend Aitor Sanz

CD Tenerife secured a 1-0 victory against UD Almería in their home league opener at the Heliodoro Rodríguez López stadium. The winning goal was scored in the 32nd minute by Enric Gallegos following a cross from Nacho Gil.

Prior to the match, the club and fans held a tribute for club legend Aitor Sanz to mark his retirement. Sanz, who ranks as the second player with the most appearances in the club's history, was presented with the club's Gold and Brilliant Insignia by President Felipe Miñambres.
