Cd. Victoria implements community services and back-to-school fair

The municipal government of Cd. Victoria, led by Mayor Lalo Gattás, is implementing several community-focused initiatives. Through the ‘Día del Pueblo’ program, officials visited the Nuevo Amanecer neighborhood to provide direct access to health services, legal advice, social support, and psychological care. The event aimed to bring government services closer to residents and facilitate public hearings to resolve local requests.

Additionally, the city is hosting the 2026 Back to School Fair on August 23 at the 17 ‘Te Quiero Más’ avenue. Organized by the Secretariat of Economic Development and Employment in collaboration with local businesses, the fair features over 25 vendors offering discounted school supplies, including uniforms, footwear, notebooks, and educational technology. The initiative is designed to support family economies and stimulate local commerce ahead of the new school year.
