Cádiz Bay transport cards offered free for one week

As part of European Mobility Week, the Cádiz Bay Transport Consortium is offering free issuance of its transport cards from Wednesday, September 16, until Tuesday, September 22. During this period, users can obtain the card at standard sales points without paying the associated management fees. While the card acquisition is free, users must still provide their own balance for travel and recharges.

The initiative aims to promote public transport and accessible mobility for all demographics, including students and the elderly. To celebrate, the Consortium is also hosting a social media selfie contest where daily winners receive a transport card pre-loaded with 20 euros.

Information stands have been established at the Cádiz bus station, with additional presence scheduled at catamaran stations in El Puerto and Rota. Educational activities, such as the 'Aula Consorcio' program, will also take place to engage primary school students in intermodal travel experiences.
