Cádiz CF and CD Eldense draw in Segunda División clash

Cádiz CF and CD Eldense played to a draw at the Pepico Amat Stadium during the second matchday of the Segunda División. Eldense took an early lead through Mariano Carmona, but Cádiz responded with an equalizer from Ibon Sánchez.

In the second half, Eldense extended their lead with an ‘olímpico’ corner goal by Guillermo Macho. However, Cádiz managed to secure a point late in the match when Cordero scored following a defensive error.

Cádiz manager Albert Celades noted that while the first half was difficult, his team showed significant improvement and resilience in the second half, attributing the comeback to effective substitutions. Eldense coach Claudio Barragán expressed frustration, noting that despite a strong performance, defensive lapses and a lack of concentration in set-piece situations prevented them from securing a victory.
