Cádiz CF restructures ownership and appoints Christian Septien as president
Cádiz Club de Fútbol is undergoing a major governance overhaul as it launches a €6.6 million capital increase. The club’s shareholding has shifted after the 26.45 % stake previously held by Locos por el Balón S.L. was transferred to Make Mark S.L., an entity linked to the incoming president Christian Septien. The change follows the resignation of former president Manuel Vizcaíno and the appointment of Septien, who is expected to steer the club toward a new strategic direction.
The ownership realignment has not been fully disclosed to shareholders or supporters, with official documents from the Consejo Superior de Deportes initially still listing Locos por el Balón as the shareholder before being updated to reflect Make Mark’s control. The leadership transition and capital raise are seen as a pivotal moment for the club’s financial stability and future sporting projects.
