Cádiz emergency services combat multiple forest fires

Emergency services in the province of Cádiz, Spain, have been actively combating several forest fires. In Olvera, firefighters from the Consorcio de Bomberos de la Provincia de Cádiz and the Plan Infoca responded to a fire in a roadside ditch early Saturday morning. In Algeciras, the Plan Infoca declared the Las Pantallas forest fire extinguished on Saturday afternoon. This specific fire had previously been controlled on Friday before reactivating. The incident was part of a series of fires in the Algeciras area that began on Thursday. Local police arrested a suspect in connection with the recent fires in the southern part of the city, finding the individual with lighters and soot-stained clothing near the emergency deployment site.
