Free Trade Zone Economic Special Zones Blue Economy Educational gaps PISA results

The Cádiz Free Trade Zone has presented its transformation model in Peru to foster new business opportunities and international collaboration. During the 2026 Academic Forum of ZED Paita in Piura, State Delegate Fran González shared the consortium's recent evolution and expertise in economic development.

The mission aimed to strengthen ties with the Paita Special Development Zone (ZED Paita) by exploring cooperation in the Blue Economy, innovation, and sustainability. The invitation to present the Spanish model comes as Peruvian authorities analyze the future of their own economic special zones.
