Spanish municipalities implement urban transport and community service updates

Various Spanish municipalities are implementing updates to local services and infrastructure. In Madrid, the Empresa Municipal de Transportes (EMT) has restored regular routes and stops for seven bus lines, including 10, 14, 26, 32, C1, N9, and NC1, following the reopening of Paseo de la Infanta Isabel near the Atocha station.

In Cádiz, the city is preparing for a major overhaul of its urban bus network, which includes new routes, circular lines, and increased night service. Additionally, the local government has processed 5,300 resident parking permits for regulated zones, with potential tariff changes planned for 2027.

Other regional updates include Alcalá de Guadaíra launching a free family childcare program for September, and the deployment of the Red Amparo mobile unit in Cuenca to provide sexual violence prevention and information during the San Julián festivities.
