Canary Islands 2026 holidays feature three long weekends
The remaining public holidays in the Canary Islands for 2026 include October 12, November 2, December 8, and December 25.
According to the labor calendar approved by the Government of the Canary Islands, these dates allow for three consecutive three-day weekends. Specifically, the National Day of Spain on Monday, October 12, provides a long weekend from Saturday to Monday. Additionally, since All Saints' Day falls on a Sunday, the holiday is observed on Monday, November 2, creating a second three-day weekend. December offers the possibility of a four-day bridge if employees request Monday, December 7, off, as the Immaculate Conception holiday falls on Tuesday, December 8.
