Cádiz Provincial Council appoints three PP leaders as technical advisors

Almudena Martínez del Junco, president of the Cádiz Provincial Council, has appointed three members of the People's Party (PP) to technical advisor positions. The appointments, which involve full-time dedication and an annual salary of 46,581.64 euros each, were formalized in an edict published in late October.

The new advisors include Ascensión Hita Fernández, president of the PP in Chiclana; Susana González Pérez, president and spokesperson for the PP in La Línea de la Concepción; and María Blanca Merino de la Torre, a former provincial official for the Andalusian Women's Institute.

These roles are classified as positions of trust and advisory services. For Hita Fernández, the full-time requirement of the new role may impact her ability to serve in other public capacities, such as her current roles in Chiclana and the Mancomunidad of Municipios de la Bahía de Cádiz.
