Cádiz, recognized as one of the oldest cities in Spain, offers a variety of historical sites, coastal attractions, and cultural celebrations. The city’s historic center is highly walkable, featuring landmarks such as the Cádiz Cathedral, various watchtowers, and the Cádiz Museum.

Local culture is defined by several major annual festivals. The Carnaval de Cádiz, held in February, is noted for its satirical musical groups, including chirigotas and comparsas, which focus on social and political commentary. Religious traditions are also prominent, including the atmospheric Semana Santa (Holy Week) processions and the Corpus Christi celebrations in June.
