Cádiz street vendors resolve advertising controversy

Street vendors in Cádiz, known locally as 'lateros', have resolved a recent controversy regarding the advertising displayed on their clothing and carts.

Santiago Álvarez, president of the Asociación de Lateros, stated that the issue was settled following a meeting with representatives from the Cádiz City Council and the Local Police. Álvarez clarified that while vendors received notifications regarding the advertising guidelines, no formal complaints or fines were issued during the recent period of tension. He noted that the relationship between the vendors and local authorities has historically been positive.
