Cádiz hosts historical, musical, and sailing events in September
Cádiz is hosting several cultural and recreational events this September. The city will celebrate ‘Cádiz, emporio del orbe’ from September 11 to 20, a program highlighting its historical role as a commercial bridge between Europe and the Americas between 1493 and 1805. The festivities include large-scale opening and closing street spectacles.
On September 5, the third edition of the ‘Paseo de Carnaval’ will take place along the Paseo Marítimo. The event features approximately 40 performances from various musical groups, including choirs, chirigotas, and quartets, across three different stages with free admission.
Additionally, the Real Club Náutico de Cádiz will host the first ‘Regata Onda Cero’ on September 5. The sailing event in the Bay of Cádiz aims to bring together around 40 vessels, offering both competitive ORC racing for experienced crews and a more accessible format for recreational sailors.
