CE-Ayllu Solar hosts solar energy business training in Chile

The CE-Ayllu Solar project held a training session titled ‘Business Models and Sustainability’ in the Arica and Parinacota region of Chile. The event, held at the Hotel Valle de Azapa, is the second in a six-part educational cycle designed to support small and medium-sized enterprises, entrepreneurs, and cooperatives within the regional innovation ecosystem.

International consultant Rodrigo Barra provided expertise on building sustainable business models based on solar energy, covering topics such as collaborative governance, cost and income management, financing, and impact. The initiative aims to combine technological availability with capacity building to ensure local communities can effectively adopt solar technology to address regional climate and soil challenges.
