Ceará elects new federal deputies Carmelo Neto and Aj Albuquerque

New election results from Ceará confirm the election of several federal deputies to the Brazilian Chamber of Deputies.

Carmelo Neto (PL-CE) has secured a seat, marking a significant rise for the 25-year-old conservative leader. Having previously served as a city councilor in Fortaleza and as a state deputy, Neto is viewed as a central figure in the reorganization of right-wing political forces in the state.

Additionally, Aj Albuquerque (PP) has been re-elected as a federal deputy. Following the final tally by the TSE, Albuquerque received 105,259 votes, securing his position through the distribution of remaining seats. His strongest voter bases were located in Fortaleza, Trairi, and Massapê.
