Ceará government delivers 40 new police vehicles to 19 municipalities

The Government of Ceará has delivered 40 new patrol vehicles to reinforce the operations of the Military Police across 19 municipalities. The delivery ceremony was led by Governor Elmano de Freitas in Fortaleza.

Since 2023, the state government has provided more than 2,000 vehicles to security forces. Other investments during this period include the delivery of over 5,000 new weapons and the addition of 5,790 professionals to the security workforce.

The municipalities receiving the new vehicles include Fortaleza, Caucaia, Maracanaú, Sobral, and several others. Officials stated that the fleet renewal aims to improve mobility for officers and reduce response times while combating organized crime.
