Ceará hosts legal technology conference and financial education workshops

The State Conference of Ceará Advocacy will take place on August 27 and 28 at the Centro de Eventos do Ceará. Organized by the OAB-CE in partnership with UNI7 and UNINASSAU, the event focuses on the theme ‘Advocacy 5.0: Law, Technology, and Humanized Management.’ The conference aims to discuss the impacts of technological innovation on the legal field, emphasizing ethics and humanization. Notable speakers include Maria da Penha, Beto Simonetti, and Maria Iraneide Moura Silva.

Separately, the Demócrito Rocha Foundation has launched a series of free financial education workshops in Ceará, beginning in Aracati. The program, titled ‘Financial Education for Full Citizenship,’ aims to provide practical tools for budget organization, consumer awareness, and protection against digital fraud and AI-driven scams. The initiative will travel to Crato, Quixadá, Sobral, and Fortaleza through September.
