Ceará re-signs striker Saulo Mineiro to bolster offense

Ceará Sporting Club has re-signed striker Saulo Mineiro for his third stint with the club. The move is intended to bolster an offensive unit that currently ranks as the fifth-worst attack in Série B.

Saulo Mineiro, who has a deep history with the club, arrives without needing a period of physical adaptation, having played matches as recently as September 1. His return is seen as a strategic move by manager Daniel Paulista to improve goal-scoring efficiency and distance the team from relegation concerns.

The signing comes as the transfer window approaches its close on Friday, September 11. In addition to strengthening the attack, the club is expected to seek a new defender following an injury to Gabriel Silva.
