CEATEC and Japan Mobility Show 2026 to showcase AI and autonomous tech

Major technology and mobility exhibitions, CEATEC 2026 and Japan Mobility Show Bizweek 2026, are set to take place at Makuhari Messe in October 2026, focusing on digital innovation and future transportation.

At CEATEC 2026, exhibitors will highlight 'Physical AI' and social implementation of technology. Honda will demonstrate driver assistance apps for motorcycles and humanoid robots, while AIST (National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology) will showcase research on infrastructure monitoring and social problem-solving. Other participants include J:COM, presenting Wi-Fi 8 and AI-driven network operations, and Denki Kogyo, showcasing wireless power transfer technologies.

Simultaneously, the Japan Mobility Show Bizweek 2026 will feature advancements in the automotive sector. Isuzu and UD Trucks will exhibit autonomous electric buses and connected solutions. Daihatsu will present ammonia/hydrogen co-firing engines and regional microgrid projects. Subaru will showcase driver monitoring systems and infrastructure-coordinated autonomous driving test vehicles.
