CEATEC 2026 to focus on Physical AI and Transformation

Various professional conferences, exhibitions, and educational programs are scheduled across Japan for late 2026.

CEATEC 2026, an electronics and IT exhibition held at Makuhari Messe, will focus on 'Transformation' with an emphasis on 'Physical AI.' The event expects over 110,000 visitors and features 821 exhibitors. Mitsubishi Electric, TDK, and Hitachi have been selected for the CEATEC Award 2026. The exhibition will also run concurrently with the Japan Mobility Show bizweek 2026.

Other notable events include the 'Nutrition Forum 2026' on October 24, featuring 18 experts discussing dietetics and metabolic health, and the 'Learning UX Design Conference 2026 in TOKYO' on December 12 in Tsukiji. In the creative and hobby sectors, the 64th All Japan Model Hobby Show will take place at Tokyo Big Sight in early October, and the 'PASFES 2026' art festival will be held in Kanagawa on November 8.

Educational and industry-specific initiatives include a tourism management training program by Musashino Art University and the Tokyo Metropolitan Government, and the 'Todai Week @ Marunouchi' urban planning seminar held in July.
