Ceatăra Folk Ensemble celebrates 25th anniversary in Carei

The Ceatăra Folk Ensemble held an anniversary concert at the Dendrologic Park in Carei on August 15, 2026, to celebrate 25 years of activity. The event featured a diverse program with numerous soloists and ensembles, including the Crenguța Ensemble, the Rekettye Hungarian Folk Ensemble, and the Măgura Cernești Folk Ensemble.

Carei Mayor Monica Giurgiu-Kovács and Vice Mayor Zoltán Fazakas attended the celebration. During the event, Robert Laszlo, manager of the Satu Mare County Center for the Conservation and Promotion of Traditional Culture, presented the Ceatăra Folk Ensemble with a Diploma of Excellence in recognition of their 25-year milestone. The municipality allocated 40,000 lei for the production of the spectacle.
