Cecap club inaugurates new natural grass pitch

The Cecap club has officially inaugurated its new natural grass pitch following an extensive community-led effort. The project was completed through manual labor, with players, families, and volunteers working together to lay the sod piece by piece.

Co-founder Daniela Videla noted that the achievement was once viewed as nearly impossible. The inauguration coincided with the start of the ‘Pequeños Gigantes’ tournament. Due to high demand, with the club currently serving between 370 and 380 children, the institution is now prioritizing further infrastructure improvements, specifically the construction of bathrooms and changing rooms to support its growing membership.
