Ceccano hosts road safety training for 120 students
In Ceccano, Italy, approximately 120 students from the local Liceo and IIS participated in the “Frena il rischio, prendi il controllo” (Brake the risk, take control) road safety initiative. Organized by ACI Frosinone and the national Ready2Go ACI structure with support from the municipal administration, the program aims to combat road accidents by educating young drivers.
The training consisted of two distinct phases: a two-hour theoretical session held in the Liceo's lecture hall and a two-hour practical session. The theoretical portion covered accident statistics, vehicle mechanics, and the causes of road incidents, including human error and external variables like road maintenance.
The practical component took place at the Bachelet and Impastato squares, where students engaged in test drives and used 3D simulators. The event featured participation from local authorities, including the Ceccano Local Police and the Carabinieri, as well as representatives from ACI and local driving schools.
