Ceccano resident Marietta Mastrodomenico celebrates 105th birthday

Marietta Mastrodomenico, a resident of Ceccano, has celebrated her 105th birthday. Born on October 7, 1921, she is recognized as one of the oldest citizens in the province of Frosinone.

To mark the occasion, the Mayor of Ceccano, Andrea Querqui, visited Mastrodomenico to present institutional congratulations and a floral tribute on behalf of the municipal administration. During the visit, the Mayor described her as “an ocean of strength and sympathy” and a “human heritage” for the city.

Mastrodomenico’s life has spanned significant historical shifts, including the hardships of World War II. As one of four children, she worked in the fields to support her family and navigated the dangers of wartime bombings and food shortages by bartering with German forces to secure necessities.
