Cecilia Baliva Announces Debut Album as Giovanni Segreti Bruno Unveils New Single

Singer‑songwriter Cecilia Baliva, who recently won the Bruno Lauzi prize for her song “Sola,” announced that her first album “Se vale la pena” will be released in October. The record was recorded with bassist Chiara Bottazzi and percussionist Chiara Mascarucci, and Baliva is releasing it independently without a label.

In a separate interview, Calabrian singer‑pianist Giovanni Segreti Bruno promoted his new single “Scacciapensieri,” describing the track as an invitation to face life’s anxieties like a tarantella. The song was written with Luca Napolitano and follows his earlier successes, including a soundtrack placement in the 2023 film “Mamma qui comando io.” Both artists highlighted their regional roots and recent live performances across Italy.
