Cecilia Bracamonte announces farewell concert at Gran Teatro Nacional

Peruvian singer Cecilia Bracamonte has announced the start of her farewell from large-scale stage productions with a concert titled ‘Gracias por Tanto’. The event is scheduled for November 8 at the Gran Teatro Nacional.

After a career spanning 64 years, Bracamonte clarified that she is not retiring from music entirely. She intends to continue singing and participating in special projects and smaller presentations, but wishes to gradually close the chapter on high-format productions while her voice remains intact.

The concert, which has been in preparation for approximately one year, will feature a personally selected repertoire that reflects various stages of her life and career. While traditional Peruvian criollo music will be featured, the show will also explore other musical genres that have shaped her journey through Peruvian and Latin American music. The production will incorporate new arrangements, images, memories, and testimonials to recount her artistic history, and will include special guests to be announced at a later date.
